Vent log is distributed through the App Store, so your use of it runs under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
You get seven days free from your first sign-in. After that, writing a new vent and having it analysed needs Ventlog Pro, an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly at whatever price the app shows for your region. Anything you'd already written stays readable for free.
It renews every month until you cancel. To cancel, go to Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple charges your App Store account when you confirm the purchase.
Vent log is a journal with an emotion classifier attached to it. Nobody clinical is on the other end of it, and the labels it hands back are a language model's guess at the words you used. If you're in crisis, call your local emergency number or a crisis line where you live.
You keep every right to what you write, and we've no claim on any of it. It doesn't get used as training data for anything, here or anywhere else.
